Rocky point again.

Well ..I'll be off for few days..going to Rocky Point. Never been there and don't really know what to expect...I'll figure things out as they come.  I was not able to find anyone who would be interested to go with me...so that part sux.
For ppl who's been there...any tips on where to stay and where are the good beaches? Do I really need mexican car insurance? Anything else I need to know?

Martin: Wait!!!! My friend just went there and said the place was pretty much empty. You may not find too much there except a dirty beach and a ghetto little town without the 17 year old tourists you desire, especially if you are going during the week.

yeah..I wasnt expecting too many girls there..The only reason i go is for the beach...I need it during the year...if I don't spend sometime near the ocean,I dont feel well in the winter.
Gheto town is ok...but what about dirty beach? Is it that bad? I  would call San-diego beach dirty....is Rocky points beach worse? I hope it's not colder at least.
  I was thinking to take bus to Mazatlan...takes 18 hours to get there...but all that hussle with Greyhound and changing buses in Nogales...naw. Plus I don\t know about visa thing...you gotta pay for that too.

I took a bus to Mazatlan a few years ago. it was the worst travel experience of my life. It did take about 18 hours to get there. however, on the way back, it took 30. Mexican bus services leave a lot to be desired. The bus driver, of a charter bus mind you, was stopping to pick up every person he saw on the side of the road and drive them 3 miles down, repeat cycle ad naseum.

On the good side, I loved Mazatlan. The water is much nicer than Rocky Point as are the beaches. We stayed at a place called Hotel Lerma, not too far into the city for $5 US per night (it's not the Hyatt, but if you can rough it a bit, it's cool). The Crescent was a cool place to party too. I have no idea how it would be this time of year though.

I've gone to rocky point a bunch of times.  Twice we didn't get mexican insurance, but if you have a nice car I'd suggest you get it.  Never had to deal with it though, I mean, are the mexican police really going to help you???

Rocky Point beach sucks though,, at least the parts I went to were very dirty.

Things I like about Rocky Point:

2. Booze


If your looking for women, the best time would be around a month after school starts, most of the freshmen try it once or twice because its the thing to do.  But they soon wise up and just find a party.

Interesting place this Rocky Point...looks like real Mexico to me,not many people speak English,and some of my spanish lessons paying off big time! Lile even whem I asked for internet...they didnt know what I was talking about!..So I remembered how to say e-mail in spanish...I don't even know where thay came from..LOL..I really don't remember anything spanish. It was pretty easy to find appartments,But I stayed in this motel, close to the beach and the party area..30 bucks a night,not too bad I supose. Made some local friends already,they helped me out with some things like place to stay and we went driving around too last nigth....People just love me ..lol
It;s kinda hot here,like Tucson hot...but I can always jump in the ocean,since I am close to it...and the beach is really nice...not dirty at all like some of my friends were saying.I see myself staying here for another week at least...I'll decide how long as I go.
 Anyway,as far as PUA...I am trying my skills on mexican girls...American hos can be played in Tucsion...lol. Me not speaking spanish and them not speaking english kinda kills game,but I am not ready to give up. Local girls are just gorgeous here...not fatties like in Tucson. Nothing to report tho yet.
