Sure!  :D

I actually developed a system while I was in Denver for getting into the night clubs for free. And there's several ways that you can do it. The best way without becoming an actual employee at one of the clubs is to meet the club promoters. And they don't have to know who you are. You just have to know who they are and find out other people's names who are important around there. Also, don't do this when you're stoned... it doesn't work because I've found that I'm usually not talkative and fun enough when I'm stoned so avoid that whole scenario.

You go to the clubs and the first time I go I find out who the promoter is and meet with him face to face. I'll usually bring a girl with me and tell her to flirt with him. I chat him up for a few minutes and then get his number, find out if there's an email list, talk to him on a guy level and then bounce.

It helps to get girls around you before you show up to the place the first couple of times. If they give you any problems the first time you show up after that and you don't have a girl on your arm(they won't give you a problem if you have a girl there generally), just give him a twenty and he'll let you in. After that, he'll start to recognize you a little bit and if he doesn't it usually doesn't matter as long as you talk to him like you've known him forever.

You can also text them before you get there and they'll usually just let you in that way. But remember that they're looking to get girls in so do what you can to have a couple girls with you when you walk up.

Another way is to find out some of the important bouncers names and then when you walk up to the guy with the list say, "Hey man... I'm (whoeveryouare), I'm under (Bouncer)'s name. He usually just throws me on the list." And a lot of the time they'll write you in or pretend like they're writing you in.

Remember, their job is to get people who are important and girls into the club. So if you help them do that, they'll help you get in. If you walk up with a bunch of dudes, it's usually harder. And they'll give you that look like, "What the fuck are you trying to do to me?" And in that case, it's good to be friends with staff to actually get yourself on the list before hand.

can't can't can't... all I hear is can't. You guys should be thinking of ways this will work instead of thinking of ways that it won't... Plus... it's so easy to get into clubs around here for free without being a DJ...

I agree with 80 percent of that. That was a delightful contribution from a non biased stand point. Thank you :)

I refuse, however, to pay a guy 20 bucks to let me in, when I know for a FACT I'll be one of if not the most fun thing inside.

Also, a little tip on making high quality friends in the club... talk to the guys who look to be having the least amount of fun. They're usually the serious/industry people. Dumb luck plays a huge roll in the club scene/social networking arena.

I have been friends with a lot of the well known Phoenix DJ's for over 10 years. I could get guestlisted all the time. But I don't.

Why?

Because the DJ gets paid from the door.  I support my homies.

You want some social proof?

NOT being one of the hordes of losers asking for freebies puts you a step above the rest. Last weekend I was at an event and my DJ friend was at the door, I went to pay and he said, no come on in. I was like - you let enough people in for free. I don't mind paying $7 for what I know is going to be a night of fun, great music, and debauchery. You deserve it.

The ONLY time guest list is cool is for east coast clubs with velvet rope policy. But most of those places suck hard, anyway.

Well man, I'd never tell you not to pay to get into the clubs. But, some guys want to go out 4 or 5 nights a week and don't have the cash to be spending $10-20 a night on club entrance fees. So, getting into them for free is more than just because you're a cheap ass... it's almost essential. I know I don't have money to spend on that.

And guest list, from my standpoint, is always fucking cool. Especially if you have a girl or several girls with you. It gives you value in everyone's eyes and helps out the club. The only people I ever have known that sometimes don't like to let people in for free is the managers and that's because they know that the cover goes straight into the club's pockets without any expenses.

yes, I work at Showcase with Limitless and also the Hi Liter (strip club). I have done some light body guard work and am exploring expanding more into that area. I have also been a driver for a few higher than average security people.

if it is during the day, more than likely not as I am at Honda during the day and work there nights. I worked it out that I always have at least a weekend night off, so I can still get out. Working there really is just setting me up for when I move next year.
