2 different shit tests

I was just reading mimickers FR on moving targets and how he handles the shit test:

Sounds like he passed the shit test because the sarge continued on. But its interesting how you handled it. Saying Noooooo sounds like a little kid who just got busted doing something he shouldnt, but the little kid doesnt get defenseful back when hes called on his shit.

We all know that they reccomend for shit tests to first ignore, agree, or misentrepret as a compliment. You handled it differently but it was at a point in the sarge where they were into you.

Its like a shit test is a way of them trying to shut you down, their natural reaction to being gamed. BUT what about early shit tests when they are not into you yet.

This is something I need to work on, recently I have let shit tests early in the game affect my sarge. When its later in the game, it feels easier to blow it off but early in the game its really tough. Im wondering if I should just ignore them and plow through material or if I should exploit it into a routine. Usually its the target who does the shit testing.

Example, THEGAME and I opened a 2 set that happened to be in close proximity to us. I cant remember who opened but I did more gaming. Right after the opener the target stated / asked that "she met me before"
I have never met or sarged her before. I dont know if it was a real IOI or she really thought that. I ran a routine or something but it didnt last too long,  the other girl was into my material and when I started my little old lady story (similar to bad ass kid) that the target busted out that "the only time guys talk about old people or animals is when they are pickingup girls" cause she claimed to have lots of guy friends. DAMN. Cause I was going into my animal routine next.

I failed the shit test cause I let it affect the way I ran my game. This is something I need to field test but I wondering if it would be better to just ignore it and keep going or make comments like "how do you roll with this girl", or  "remember when you were a little kid and you could just go up to people and say lets be friends" The second one is reacting to her shit test but in away its exploiting it and being more witty than her, because shes call you out on your material and you are calling her out on just being social. Also Im wondering if its too soon to tell them you wont get along.

I think I should have made a small  cocky and funny comment and then shifted my attention toward the other girl as an excuse to do a takeway on the target. Something im going to test out more.

The first night in Montreal, I had a few real rough sets that wouldnt open and they were shit testing me bad. When shit testing goes real bad : example : one set had been gamed a few times with opinion openers and when I did an opinion opener, they must have knew something was up. These girls were older,mid 30s and they freaked out when I did the dying hair opinion opener, they had been gamed all night and they actually really got mad at me. Like not joking around, they were pissed at me for asking them a question. They were in disbelief that I would ask that question to a stranger. I didnt help by sitting before they were cool. Actually I know it shouldnt have but it really got to my state cause they were really mean for no reason. I had done the same approach 50 times and never got that response.

Some other sets threw out tough shit tests, I happened to notice that these sets that did that were not party girls, they were like these serious girls in the club. They were NOT looking like fun people before I rolled up. Other sets opened up and flowed really good. It was weird to try to figure out.

Whoa dude, you TOTALLY got exactly how I said my "nooooo"... it was like a cute little kid getting his hand caught in the cookie jar.  And I didn't explain myself or feel the need to.

Anyways, about the "getting weird looks part"... I get weird looks a lot more when I'm doing street, some girls are thinking "wtf are you doing asking me this question" and walk away.  And then other girls STOP but, with an attitude that they don't want to, and are thinking "okay, lets hear what you've got to say..."  And then others get all happy when I start talking to them and are into me from the get-go.   It's very interesting to see the wide array of reactions.

I recently read in one of ijjjji's post that when you make EC with someone just for a second, like passing them by on the street, you exchange 20 bits of information.  He didn't mention what the information was, but obviously it's all subconscious.  Maybe that has something to do with us getting weird looks, because it seems like when I'm in a good state I can open any set, maybe because I'm subcommunicating all the right things.

And aslo....a shit test means the girl is into you, and I know you've read some of TD's stuff and I like how he puts it that a shit test is asking "are you alpha enough to fuck me?"  So you were saying you have an easier times with shit tests that come AFTER they're into you.  Well, I know what you're talking about, like shit tests further into the pick-up, but just remember that a girl shit-testing you off the bat DOES mean she's already into you.  It can actually be a good thing, because you're getting past that part of the pick-up early on, and once you pass, you'll be farther along in THIS pick-up than in the pick-up where you get shit-tested LATER ON.

As far as passing it... I still haven't tried this out, but on jlaix's cheat sheet he has "stick out tongue."  Seems like this could work for any shit test, so I'm excited about trying that one out.  And btw thegame, I've already done the nancy drew line! : )

You may be right, I know thats what shit tests mean, but also when its right off the bat . . . it seems more like just calling bullshit on you instead of being into you. No sense in me thinking more about it though, i need to just ignore, or call her nancy drew and plow through.

Yep, actually I know what you're saying and can relate.  I have the same SP.  It's like they actually get me to think "oh my stuff won't work on them" if they shit test me from the beginning.

Yeah I was reviewing one of TD's archives, he actually goes so far as to say that we NEED shit tests to lay the girl, because it's the window of opportunity to get her wildly turned on and get her logic completely disengaged.  A shit test means she's turned on because it's an automatic defense that a woman does to try and re-engage her logic.  By passing the shit test you shut down her logic completely.
